Vocal Meditation Classes
Aligning with intention

Run over 3 consecutive Monday evenings, these classes give you the space to create and align with a specific intention each week. Together we will use some simple vocal meditation practices to help clear blocks in the energy field, allowing a free flow of energy through the chakras.

Vocal meditation is particularly beneficial in unblocking the throat chakra, connected to finding our own voice. Sometimes we can unblock more that we bargain for - in delightful ways that place us powerfully in our creative flow and authentic expression!

About Vocal Meditation


Our voice is a powerful tool for self-healing. Its natural resonance literally tunes us to our deeper selves, freeing us from anything that is creating tension within. We become available for spontaneous joy and creativity to flow through us. The more our singing voice is free to express the beauty, power, love, peace and freedom inherent within, the more these qualities will find spontaneous expression in all areas of life.

Freeing the voice promotes confidence in communication and expressing a more authentic self in the world. When we sing we connect to our hearts, balance our emotions and harmonise our energy fields, bringing mind, body, spirit into balance.

One of the things I noticed happening when I began a voice practice, was that speaking my truth became much easier. To my surprise, the words would just flow from my mouth.  It is empowering to connect to the part of you that is self-honouring and able to express your truth to others. Particularly when it comes to saying no!

As you begin to open your voice, you may encounter blocks in the throat chakra as you produce sound. People sometimes begin to recall times in the past when their voice or creativity was shut down. It is healing to reclaim a sense of safety and joy to let your authentic voice shine and your creative energy flow again. Physical issues related to the throat chakra may also find improvement, such as neck and jaw issues, TMJ problems and thyroid imbalances.

5. Accessing Joy

I find vocal meditation a reliable way to transform negative emotional states and connect to the joy within.  Life has become so much sweeter the more I sing and sound in daily life.

6.  Grounding and Presence 

We all know the feeling of getting stuck in the head. It is wonderful to find a tool that can help you come out of those busy-mind states and return to the present moment feeling grounded in your body.  The sound vibrations cut through whatever is creating tension within, restoring clarity, soothing the emotions and literally tuning you to the resonance of your deeper self.

What can I expect in a Sound Journey?

All that is required of you is to make yourself comfortable lying on the floor with blankets, pillows and eyebags. For the next hour or so let go of the pressures and worries of the world and journey inwards, allowing the power of sound vibration to do it’s work. I work intuitively with limited guidance, giving you the space to receive what is needed. Sound journeys are often reported as "timeless" experiences, where you feel transported beyond the limitations of your body and mind.
